December 3 – International Day of the Basque Language

Today is a day to celebrate the International Day of the Basque Language.
There are around 7,000 languages in the world, and among them is ours: Euskara!

At Marcajes Telleria we try to do our small part. Whether by email or in conversation, if you would like to, let’s speak in Basque together.

To support this idea and encourage the use of Euskara, you will see this small bird symbol in our email signatures.

As you know, a language is not lost because people who do not know it fail to learn it… but because those who do know it stop using it.
